We know committing to an experience like this is both exciting and vulnerable. This policy exists to offer clarity and care — for participants and for the sustainability of the camp.

By registering for Barefoot & Unbound, participants agree to the following terms.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot.

Because this is a small-group experience with limited capacity, registration is considered a firm commitment.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit card

  • E-transfer

  • PayPal

If cost is a barrier, you’re warmly invited to reach out before registering — we are open to conversation.

Deposit Option

A limited number of spots may be reserved with a non-refundable deposit. If you would like to secure your place with a deposit rather than full payment, please email info@shiftadventureandwellness.com to arrange this option.

Deposit availability is subject to capacity and must be confirmed in writing.

Cancellation Policy (Participant-Initiated)

Due to the intimate nature of Barefoot & Unbound and the planning involved, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • Before May 16, 2026:
You may request a full refund, minus a $50 administration fee.

  • May 17 – June 1, 2026:
50% refund of the total registration fee

  • After May 30th, 2026:
Refunds are not available, as we will have already finalized food, facilitation, and logistical arrangements based on your registration.

Transfer of Spot

Participants may transfer their registration to another individual up to May 17th, 2026, with prior written notice and approval.

A $50 administrative fee applies to all transfers.

Cancellation by Organizer

In the event that Barefoot & Unbound is canceled by Renee and Harmony, all payments will be fully refunded.

The organizers are not responsible for additional costs incurred by participants, including travel, ferry fees, or accommodations outside of the camp.

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (including natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, or emergencies), the event may be postponed or canceled.

Refunds will be issued at the discretion of the organizers, minus any non-recoverable costs.

Meals & Nourishment

Lunch, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages are included in the registration fee.

A caterer will prepare meals that are homecooked, nourishing, and shared together. We will do our best to accommodate dietary needs disclosed during registration.

Travel & Transportation

Participants are responsible for their own transportation, ferry fees, and travel-related expenses. These costs are not refundable.

Health & Wellbeing

  • This event is designed to be nurturing, supportive, and accessible.

  • Activities vary in terms of physical output required and are always optional; you are highly encouraged to listen to your body.

  • Please let us know of any medical considerations, injuries, or accessibility needs so we can best support you.

Illness & Community Care

  • We ask all participants to arrive feeling well and to stay home if experiencing symptoms of illness.

  • We hold the wellbeing of the group with care and ask everyone to make thoughtful choices in support of collective health.
